Local artists display digital art, see it before it's gone | News
EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE)- A number of local artists are displaying their digital artwork for your enjoyment, but it's for a limited time only.
Digital art is really a catch-all term for any kind of art that uses digital technology.
Digital art can be purely computer generated. It can be drawn entirely with graphing tablets, or some combination of the two.
These are examples of different kinds of digital art - most of the techniques are used by advertisers and film makers to create special effects.
Some local artists have created their own digital art using photography, illustration and disc-based work.
The exhibit is on display right now through January 4th.
You can check it out at The Bower-Suhrheinrich Foundation Gallery at 318 Main Street in Evansville.
It's open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
