EPD looking for suspect in attempted adult bookstore robbery
EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE)- Evansville Police are still looking for a man who they say tried to rob an adult bookstore.
It happened at about 2:30 this morning at 519 North Main Street. That's in between Columbia and West Virginia Streets.
Dispatch says a man walked into the adult book store demanding money and claiming he had a gun. They tell us the clerk chased him out with a baseball bat.
Police are still looking for the man.
They say he was in his mid 40's, about 6 feet tall, wearing a brown baseball cap. They say had either a gapped tooth or a missing tooth.
