Downtown traffic may get hectic Wednesday | News

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE)- The Evansville Icemen are hosting their Education Day hockey game Wednesday. A number of streets near the Ford Center will likely be closed to accommodate 80 buses from area school districts.

The streets surrounding the Ford Center are Locust, Main, Martin Luther King Boulevard, 6th, and Walnut.  These are the streets that will most likely be affected.

Ford Center officials anticipate the most bus and pedestrian traffic between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m..

It's a good idea to avoid those streets if you're headed downtown.
