Literacy program hosting rummage sale | Events

The Even Start Literacy Program is hosting a Big Gym Sale Saturday, April 14, from 7 a.m. to noon in the Culver Family Learning Center’s gymnasium, located at 1301 Judson St. Hundreds of items will be for sale, including clothing, toys, household goods, linens, furniture, books, electronics and much more.

Proceeds from the sale will support the Even Start Literacy program which for the past 15 years has been dedicated to helping families break the cycle of poverty and illiteracy by offering comprehensive family literacy services.

Even Start currently works with Vincennes University for adult education services, the EVSC for early childhood education, Lampion Center for case management and a handful of other agencies.
