He was a familiar name to Tri-State residents who watched him on their black-and-white TVs every Saturday night.  Women swooned over 32 year-old country singer Curly Shelton.  It was 1957 and he seemed to have the world by the tail.  Then, he was dead.  Fifty-four years later, Kentucky State Police are still hoping to find out who killed him.

In the case of an Evansville woman accused of stealing more than $10,000 from GAGE, her employer at the time.

In a plea deal, 39-year-old Julie Gorman pleaded guilty to theft this summer and was sentenced to two years probation Friday.

She will also have to pay restitution to GAGE.

Gorman was arrested in January on accusations of using company credit cards to buy gift cards.
