A pizza delivery driver was robbed early Tuesday when a suspect got into his vehicle and demanded money.
Evansville Police say the 22-year-old driver was delivering a pizza to a home in the 1500 block of South Garvin just after midnight. When he returned to his vehicle, he found someone sitting in the passenger seat.
The suspect asked the driver to take him to a nearby gas station but the driver told him he couldn't because he was working. That's when the driver told police the man said "OK, then I'll just take all your money and I'll be on my way."
Fearing he would be hurt if he didn't comply, the driver handed over the money he was carrying and the suspect walked away. The driver returned to the business and the manager called police.
