Bid on Fast Eddy's memorabilia | Business
Fast Eddy's, the Downtown Evansville bar and restaurant that closed last summer, is being liquidated.
Curran Miller Auction/Realty, Inc. says the company will hold an online-only auction of just about everything inside beginning March 26. (Click here to go to the online auction page)
Some of the items up for auction include restaurant equipment, neon and mirrored beer signs, bar stools and liquor. A life-sized Elvis statue and giant shoe are also up for grabs.
"You know, I think it represents a great opportunity for people to get memorabilia. We do have t-shirts, Fast Eddy's t-shirts, and as I said the signage and that sort of thing, so people can get a nice piece of memorabilia at the auction," said Wendy Miller, an auctioneer with Curran Miller Auction/Realty, Inc.
For over a week, Curran Miller has been organizing and photographing auction items inside Fast Eddy's. Those pictures should be on the company's website shortly. On March 26, from 1-4pm, those interested in bidding or just seeing what is included in the auction, may view the items at Fast Eddy's. The online auction will end April 2, with April 4 serving as pick-up day for winning bidders.
