Redelopment commission will vote on new study for hotel | Business

We'll find out Wedenesday whether the Evansville Redevelopment Commission will approve a new study on a downtown hotel.  Two weeks ago, Mayor Lloyd Winnecke asked the commission to revisit the idea of whether the proposed 220-room hotel is big enough to support the Centre and Ford Center.

The mayor also wants more information on how the project will be paid for.  The commission will consider re-hiring Hunden Strategic Partners, which was chosen by the previous commission to conduct a $30,000 study.
