Faculty members art exhibit at Evansville Museum

The Evansville Museum is showing off the art work of some local instructors.

The Old Gallery exhibition EAST/WEST/NORTH: A COLLABORATION has over 40 members of the art faculties from local campuses participating. The Eastside campus of the University of Evansville; the Westside campus of the University of Southern Indiana; and the Northside campus of IVY Tech State College have joined together to present their current work in this highly anticipated 25th annual collaborative exhibition.

SMG has announced that popular comedian Gabriel “Fluffy Man” Inglesias will perform at the Aiken Theatre inside The Centre in downtown Evansville, Sunday, March 25 at 7 p.m.

Gabriel Iglesias has been described as unbelievably witty, electrifying and a talented performer who has the ability to consistently deliver a uniquely hilarious comedy experience – from start to finish – in every venue he performs in. His high-octane show is a mixture of storytelling, parodies, characters and sound effects that bring all his personal experiences to life. Gabriel’s clean and animated comedy style has earned national crossover appeal, making him popular among fans of all ages.

Food for Thought exhibit features look at Indiana's food culture

Sample Indiana’s food culture and discover Evansville’s role in our Hoosier food story by visiting the Food for Thought traveling exhibit.  The interactive exhibit for all ages, created by Indiana Humanities, will be on display from September 10 to October 2 at Central Library. 

Featuring a historical, contemporary, and interactive look at Indiana’s food culture, the exhibit is a signature piece of the two-year Food for Thought initiative from Indiana Humanities.
